Bratislava, Slovakia

Bratislava is a little gem just waiting to be discovered, Bratislava is situated in south-western Slovakia, within the Bratislava Region. Its location on the borders with Austria and Hungary makes it the only national capital that borders two countries. It is only 62 kilometers (38.5 mi) from the border with the Czech Republic and only 60 kilometers (37 mi) from the Austrian capital Vienna.

On first entering Slovakia, you may be put off my the weary custom/entry officially these are for sure a throw back to life under communist ideals and have not yet discovered the a good first impression is so important. instead these guys for sure miss communism and the power associated with wearing the uniform as they pass back and forth travellers passport with a look of distain and dare I say arrogance.
