Well the voting is all over now and the people have has their say. The result is a major setback for the Government parties. The real question here is can a government continue to ignore the electorate and carry out the difficult decisions that are need to get us out of the current economic difficulties. Or will they give in to selfish party needs and start playing the populist card and prolong the current problems our economy is suffering. If ever we need our politicians to show the courage of their convictions its is now. If they cannot do that then is it time for them to go to the country lay all their cards on the table and let the people decide what is best for them.
