The French are a disgrace to Europe for years they have been looked at as people of little honour remember these people desecrated the graves in normany of fallen British Soldiers who died trying to free them,DO NOT BE SO SURPRISED THAT THEY CHERISH AND CHEER CHEATS .

FIFA has the power to order a rematch if they consider that the 'game' has been brought into disrepute by this blatant incidence of cheating. Henry has already admitted on French TV that he handled the ball - the door is open for FIFA to do the right thing and send a very powerful message to the footballing world. Will they? Won't they? I think we all know the answer already

Henry is a cheat and blatantly so but the referee was not at fault as it was the linesman who had a clear view. FIFA needs to look at this and come to good senses and realise that the unprofessionalism of the linesman has lead to the whole argument. As the captain, Henry has said a replay is fair so FIFA should also honour Henry and Keanes wish as captains, for a replay. However, with the world cup draw in two weeks it is hard to see where it will be played. France would be seeded, Ireland in pot 2 so they can't be drawn as France/Ireland in the draw because if Ireland were to get through the other countries would give out that the second seeds in the group and the other group teams would have through ranking, an easier task(we irish don't think so).
On the other hand, if they were to be in pot 2 and France won, then the top seeded team would complain that they got to hard a second seeded team that should not be second seeds. So FIFA are stuck in a hard place unless it is played in the next two weeks. The alternative is to move the draw, giving managers less time to analyse the opponents, so in all, the French cheated but a replay is unlikely given the logistics, however fully merited.
