There are now almost 200,000 more people on the Live Register than this time last year. What tangible effort are the government making to stop this rise or is it a case of "keep you heads down lads and hope it goes away".We are rapidly approaching the first birthday of this recession and to me as a average voter it appears that our government have give up and are more concerned with bailing out banks and getting Lisbon passed. Than protecting the livelyhoods of the people that they owe their privelaged position to.
